Question about Washing Machines
Washing machine now doesn't work no power this is why i fitted a new interlocking door catch to my blomberg 1301abb washing machine after messing with the old catch when i shut the door and turned it back on there was a electrical flash, which blue the cable & its holder out of the small board which it sits in.i then put the new catch in but it wont work no power have i blown the main pcb board or is it the on off switch

There should be an in line fuse to keep from blowing the main board. Check this fuse, and also check the main board for scarring, electrical burns, or any other noticeable damage. If there is no noticeable damage, then I believe that you're going to have to replace the blown circuit in order to see if the main board was affected.
