Formating problem hi i have sony vaio VGN-NR-220E i want to know how i can format this system there vista operating i want xp

    I have Sony VAIO VGN-NR220E 15.4" Notebook

    Intel Pentium Dual Core Processor T2330

    1 GB RAM

    160 GB HD

    and have the same problem i can not install windows XP when i install the windows XP then a msg shows to there is no Harddrive available for Installing Windows.



    I go to Original Vony VAIO website for the solution, there is available one OS downgrading CD but there is some 10.99 dollars which i havent in the vertualy money.



    Plz if any one have the solution kindly tell me.

you mean you want to down grade your system? yes! you can but need to fresh install and need to format your c: drive, it means also, you need drivers components for windows xp.

Win xp is not installed on sony vgn-cs17g laptop
Hi, probably the cd may be corrupted or first u format the previous installed advanced os using that os installation disc and then install xp.because if u r using windows vista or seven it won roll back to previous versions. Another option is you can have two os on two drives
