Question about Samsung YP-P2 Digital Media Player

' Please delete more than 60 MB' samsung yp-p2

Hi There.when I turn on my new yp-p2, 4gb , I get the following message . " No space for DB. Please delete more than 60 MB."   Im not sure why it says this because there was only 15 cd's in there > less than 2gb... anyhow I removed most of the music and the same message appears when I turn it on . I know the music files are ok because I can still access them through my computer.. This is very frustrating because this is the second one it has happened to, I returned the first.. and now I have the same problem... It seemed to occur after I recharged the battery.
thank you for your assistance.

Deleting downloaded music which is no longer wanted?

go to file browser on the p2 and click on songs. then you can select the songs and delete them from the device. You can also use best buy digitalmusic store or just plug in your device and go to computer yp py and hit songs then you can delete some of your tracks.

No space for db error message

I have the same issue on my Samsung YP-T7JZ player. Nowhere has a solution. Search on web for days, nothing found. Only solution is, throw it against the wall. Collect the pieces and send them back to the manufacturer because these tech supporters don't know what this issue is.

Have you tried deleting this 4MB ? ... try it.. if it didn't work.. then hard-reset your MP3 Player, because there is an error in your DB structure caused by false-copying or power spike... something like that.
