Oddly, the main site I use to find error codes skips from E45 to E51, but 2 other sources I have seen say:

eE50 is a motor error code.check the motor brushes are ok and check the insulation on the motor as this will give you an E50 error code (as could a water leak, dripping onto the motor).could also be a faulty wiring loom to the motor or a faulty main control pcb

E50- Insufficient heating during wash phase Either the NTC sensor setting is incorrect, the heating element has failed, there is a wiring or main PCB fault

In other words, this is a fairly generic fault code I'm afraid. I would check the motor appears clean and dry, but beyond this, you will need to do a fair degree of fault finding

Did you find or solve your problem, I have the same problem, drum not rotating on any of the programs, everything starts up with water etc but then quite and no drum rotation. E50 and E51 comes up occationally as error code, I have now taken out the motor, and when checking I see that the carbon brushes is nothing left or very little, I think this is the problem, waiting for the new brushes and will then install and test. Brushes had to be changed anyway. Have tested the motor and no problem with the windings etc. If this does not work, next will be to change the triac on the motor stearing board, and check. Its suppose to be fairly easy. We will see.

Hi my Electrolux EWF1074 isn't working. The timer is counting down but there is no water in the machine. I tried resetting it but it didn't work. Could someone please help me. Regards Matt.

Rapid reading of alarms:

Press the START/PAUSE button and the nearest option button (4) simultaneously for at least 2 seconds: the LEDs initially switch off, and then display the flashing sequence indicating the last alarm.

ewf1074-2rgnvy5j4oifscmshudmmeh4-3-0.jpg After reading error code (look display) will be a lot clearer in which phase of the washing cycle has occurred or is happening malfunction.

New washing machine (electronic) compared to the old models (electromechanical) consume much less water, so it looks that your washing machine is working properly, otherwise it would be stopped. This will be confirmed if the display show E00 which means there is no any malfunction. Any other error code, for exp. E10,E20,E30, E40, E50...... means some malfunction.

Ld error on electrolux ewt606 How i can fix it

I've never heard for model EWT606.
So, generally speaking error code is displayed as a letter "E" with two numbers, or just two numbers. For exp. E10,E50,E60....or 10,50,60 depending of model washing machine. Some of them are equipped with display (they show E50) and some other only with LEDs diode (you must count number of flashes and color light, red and green).

Front loader washing machine EWF1087 stopped half way and did not drain, E50 was displayed. Emergency emptying out the water was done and try to restart. Could not start, still displaying E50. What to do?

the error code E50 indicates that the motor has become overheated, you should give it an hour to cool then try running the washing machine again. I'm also including a link to pdf below with the common error codes for your brand of washer in case you have any other problems

Hi, I have an Electrolux EWF1087 which is flashing an E50 error message. Can you tell me what that error message means? Thanks Gary.

HELLO GARY E50 error is to do with the motor, it can be the motor power supply triac has got a short circuit or there could be no signal from the motor tachometric generator, which will uaually mean a pcb fault, or wiring to motor or even the motor. hope this helps
