Can you be more specific? Are you referring to the operating system files to run your pc or are you referring to files that you know are there, but you just can't find them? If it's operating system files, just reinstall your OS. You don't have to reformat, so you won't lose anything, but you should still back up important data anyway. If it's files that you KNOW are there, have you used the search feature to see if you can find them that way?

Cannot syart an 18+ game, applications says dll file is missing.

DLL stands for Dynamic Link Libraries and are external parts of applications that run on Windows or any other operating systems. Most applications are not complete in themselves and store code in different files. If there is a need for the code, the related file is loaded into memory and used. If the OS or software is not able to find the concerned DLL file, or if the DLL file is corrupted, you could receive a DLL file is missing message.
If DLL files are missing on your Windows computer, the best ways to fix such errors are as follows: 8 Safe And Useful Software Sites
  1. Run the built-in System File Checker tool to replace missing or corrupted operating system files
  2. Run the DISM tool and repair the Windows system image and fix a corrupted Windows Component Store
  3. Repair or re-install the software if some application throws up this error
  4. Copy the DLL file from another system and restore it on your PC, followed by re-registering the dll file.

I formated my desktop HP computer when window installation finished the final step my computer displays TFGHT is missing

If the computer indicates that a critical file is missing you can always go into another computer that has the same operating system and make a copy of that file on a usb stick and then insert that file into the correct place. It is also possible that the cd rom you used to install windows did not properly read part of the install disk. You can try again or use an external cd rom to do the install. The likelihood of 2 different units both missing the same file is very remote, unless the disk is damaged and file cannot be properly read.

How to fix a frozen screne

The cause of the freezing, or locking up, of your computer, is due to some either corrupted or missing files. And more specifically, missing or corrupted registry files. These are the files which tell everything on your how it is suppose to work. Basically, they are configuration files. And if these files get corrupted, or messed up, it can wreck havoc.

Sometimes the registry files end up missing. This can happen when you uninstall software from your computer. The software being uninstalled may remove registry files also associated with another program. There should be a message asking you whether or not you want to delete the files as they are associated with another program. Your best bet is to say NO to this and leave the files. If the files end up missing, then the program which needs them will stall, hang, or freeze the next time it tries to run. But there is a simple way to fix this.

By just running registry scan software on your computer, you can find these problems and fix them right away. It will let you know which files are bad, and will fix them to its original state. And it is this simple step which will show you how to fix your computer freezing.

Error message says: missing file, aquatica.dat

Hi,

This is a system files. These are basic file's in a window directory.Regarding aquatica.dat, it is a multimedia file component.

You can repair this by downloading .dat file from .dat database. You can easily search the file online and add it. If you purchase a software, it would cost you certain bucks. Better reinstall windows or restore.

Computer can be affected by the missing of these files. It depends on How many files are missing, configuration of the PC, Virus, Malisware, Adware etc.

The simple option - Restore or Reinstall, if not a tech.

Let me know,if need any further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

My system won't boot because the windows\system32\config\system

If i am from Singnet technical Helpdesk, we are advised to direct you to Acer Service centre if you owned an Acer computer with a serial number and if it is still under the warranty period on Operating system missing, Another option is to contact Microsoft service centre for CD replacement or oprating system advise since they are the suppliers and vendors for fathering the operating system, To troubleshoot your missing files, you need to know pecifically which files are missing and are they registered in your O/S and are they active and running or are they deactivated, takes longer time to solve missing files problems because you did not list what files are missing and you need to tell microsoft what files are missing in our operating system as there are thousand of files in the WIndows operating system
