Question about LG VX6100 Cellular Phone

BLANK SCREENS - it's an epidemic

The same thing happened to my phone. The screens started cutting in and out one day, sometimes working fine and sometimes only lighting up but with no display, then in a few days they stopped displaying period. I was looking at the inside screen when it happened - my wallpaper picture zigzagged and flickered, turned different colors and disappeared and left me with a white screen. The people at the Verizon store (why don't they have phone mechanics to figure this stuff out?) surmised that a cable or something in there went bad. Can they fix it? No, they said. "We're not allowed to." Huh? They said I was SOL and managed to transfer my contacts and pictures (which they'd initially said they were unable to do) to a new phone, but I had a bunch of sound clips of my baby before she died and they said they couldn't transfer those. I neglected to email them to myself from my phone, so they're still in there. I'd like to be able to get my screen display back just long enough to be able to navigate in order to send myself those sounds. Can anyone suggest something?

I was able to get mine to work for about ten to thirty mins with a new battery and using a toothpick to spread the charger port parts. The flat one with two notchs away from the black with the gold contacts. GENTLY press toothpick (nonconductive) against the two notchs part and GENTLY wiggle it away from the other. It took 5 snatch sessions to get all my stuff off. I used the battery that came with my LGvx8100 as they are the same. DO NOT CHARGE THE BATTERY IN THE 6100.

sorry to say but you have to replace the screen as the cable that goes from the screen to the phone through the hinge has broke.so when you have it half open its making contact.

Nokia e 61i white screen

My Nokia E61i sometimes starts up with the welcome screen and works normal for a while.
Then sometimes the screen will flash on start up or continues to flash
with spotted colors and not come on. Could this be a software problem?

Thank you Jason

Blank Screens

The flex cable in the phone is extremely weak and is prone to tearing if the handset it opened too far. It could either be torn completly or damaged enough to lose the connection. I would take it back where you bought it to have it checked out. Usually this will be covered by a warranty.
