The dryer is doing nothing when I set the time and push the start button. I have omed out all the fueses and have made sure the door is shut. I have used my multi meter and I am getting the corect voltage....

Check your door switch. It should be a normally open switch. If it's good, you will need to check the thermal fuse and or thermal cut off. This is where you will find the problem. When you find the one bad, you will need to replace the cycling thermostat. It's a normally closed switch that closes on the rise. Once the temp gets to the degree on the cycling thermostat it opens, cutting power to element. When it goes out, it will not open. Then the dryer cycles off of the thermal cut off. This results in the dryer getting real hot and then the thermal cut off will be put out or the thermal fuse one. Your on the right track, keep looking and I feel sure you will find it. By the way, these parts I listed are located on the vent housing close to the blower housing. Good luck.

Back fires everytime i shut it down after

When you finish cutting, bring the engine down to idle for about 30 seconds (some say 5 or 10 seconds but I have found a little longer doesn't hurt anything and sure doesn't scare the heck out of you) before you shut it off, If you shut it down wile it is still turning fast, it will continue to feed fuel into the cylinder and out into the hot muffler where the heat ignites the vapor causing the backfire.

I have problems with my felco #4 pruners after I change the blade. Once I put it back together and tighten the lock nut, the pruners will stick in a closed position after a 5 cuts. I then have to pull it...

How old are they? If the spring in between the handles is old it won't spring back as well. Usually the only time I've ever had a problem with the blades sticking was when I had bent the arms to the blade. Felco's are indestructible, I know, but sometimes you can get a little to over zealous and use them for something they're not designed to do and you wind up bending them. Look down the arms and find out which one seems a little out of kilter and give it a gentle bend until it's back in shape. Do it too much and you'll wonder why they can't get a clean cut. Acer Aspire 5315 Notebook will not power on

disconnect the battery from the laptop and only hook up the ac adaptor. Turn the laptop on and if it still cuts off after 5 seconds then reseat the memory back into its slots. Also make sure your air vents are not clogged with dirt or dust as lack or air flow can cause the laptop to shut off. If that doesn't do it then take out the hard drive and dvd drive and turn on the laptop. If the laptop still cuts off then it has to be a faulty motherboard at that point which means to much voltage is going thru and the components on the motherboard are not regulating it properly.

Rheem gas valve for furnance

It is intentional. It's a slow close valve. There is no adjustment. You can usually replace it with an instant open/close valve.
