I tried re-starting a few times, unplugging it, checked all the connections, checked ink levels. Everything is good. It still won't work.I tried re-starting a few times, unplugging it, checked all the connections, checked ink levels. Everything is good. It still won't work.

Usually this means exactly what it says. The page is too busy because of heavy graphic data.
There are a couple of things you can try, first, make sure that the document does not contain images that overlay other images this will reduce the graphic load on the page.
Second, add more RAM to the printer.
What kind of a document are you sending to the printer? What application are you using to create the document?
Can you do a "Print to File" off of the printer driver's screen and send the document to me at [email protected] I'll be happy to run some diagnostic tools I have and see if I can get it to print.
I had the same problem and couldn't figure it out until I found this on the web - I changed the DEP setting and now I can print just fine. Hope this helps you too!!

It had to do with DEP − Data Execution Prevention. I had remembered that I was fooling around with this a couple weeks ago and had changed it to "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select" in which I had Windows Explorer checked. I just got done selecting the original which states "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only", rebooted, and now I can print again to my hp 7350 printer. The DEP can be found under control panel−>system−>Advanced Tab−>Performance Settings−>Data Execution Prevention Tab Hope this helps.
it seems that the computer was trying to send the data to the printer through the wrong port. i went to the control panel in windows xp, and selected printers and scanners. and added a new printer (manually) as al-1540 cs on usb port 2. it alerted me that the software was not signed, i proceeded anyways. it asked if i wanted to keep the original printer , i said yes. and the test page printed away. so i would suggest people with similar problem to keep adding multiple copies of the printer again and again on usb ports 1,2,3... etc till it prints the test page. use the copy no. indicated in the printed test page to do all your print jobs in the future.
I have a Lexmark X5495 printer and I had it refilled a couple of weeks ago, suddenly i have a message that goes "Order new ink" or something and i check the cartridge but it is still full. I try restarting the printer and even the computer but the printer STILL won't let me print.
I have WiFi Zebra QL420. In my case a simple header label prints fine then the complex label (many fields, barcode, lines & boxes) gets stuck. Labels are in separate spol files. We have many other labels printing fine, just this one ALWAYS gets stuck.
If I send same data from PC to printer it works fine.
I can see with ethernet sniffer that header label data goes but complex label doesn't even leave the iSeries. My sniffer is too crude to tell me what LPR level protocol is saying.
