My 10 year old forgot her unlock code password to her lg vm 510 rumor touch phone.Is there anyway to factory reset it?

You can reset and restore the factory default settings of your LG Attune UN270 mobile phone by following below instructions:

• Touch
• Touch Settings
• Touch Phone Settings and Security.
• Enter the four-digit Lock Code.
• Touch Master Reset.
• Touch OK
• A message will pop up that says "All settings will revert to factory default."
• Touch Revert or Cancel.
• If you touch Revert, enter the four-digit Lock Code. The phone returns to the configuration default.

Steps to Reset Settings This will reset the phone to factory default settings.

1. Unlock the touch screen by dragging Slide up to unlock up and touch the Menu Quick Key.
2. Touch Settings.
3. Touch Phone Settings.
4. Touch Security.
5. Enter the four-digit lock code. The default lock code is the last 4 digits of your phone number.
6. Touch Reset Default.
7. After reading the warning message, touch OK.
8. Touch Revert.

sir if you forgot the password or don't know the security code, You have to master reset the phone. Contact your service provider to get a master reset code at free of cost....You can also visit http://www.unlock-zone.com/ and can see different options there to get unlock code for a price. If you have forgot the codes for your mobile you can unlock it by using the last four digits of your phone number or four zeros. If these codes are not working you can contact your network service provider to get the unlock codes.
If you need to reset your mobile then press the "Menu" button,from main menu scroll to "Settings/Tools" and select the option by pressing the center "Menu/OK" button.Scroll to "Settings" and select.Scroll and select "More". Scroll to "Security" and press your "Menu/OK" button.Enter in your phone's security code when prompted. Select "Reset/Erase", then "Reset". A warning message will appear. Press the "Menu/OK" button, then highlight and select "Yes" to confirm the reset.

you could probably reset the phone to factory default

The code should be the last 4 digits of your cell number. However, if you changed that, then try going to reset it. It'll prob cost you though.
