Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3xx Cellular Phone

Address book on SIM card

My Motorola phone screen is totally black and discolored, so I'm transferring the sim card to an old phone until I can purchase a new one. Because I can't see the screen, I need exact instructions to put the address book onto my SIM card. I can get to the address book and address book options by myself, I just need to know how many times to click the down arrow and what to select. Please help! Thanks.

I don't have a usb port... my phone works, you just can't see anything on the screen. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me the exact buttons to transfer them onto the SIM card. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

You can connect it to a pc via the usb port and transfer all of it into the computer. Some programs actually allow you to see the screens of the phone on the pc so try that out.

My old phone contact need to copy to lg-x330 phone

You have not stated the Brand and the Model of your old phone. anyway the basic procedure remains the same for every cell phone.
Transfer your all contacts in the old phone to your sim card. Go to phone book/address book and then contacts. On the drop down menu you will find 2 options i.e. Copy Sim to Phone and Copy Phone to Sim. Click on Copy Phone to Sim. All your contacts will be transferred to Sim. Remove the sim from the old phone and insert it in the new LG phone. Repeat the above steps. This time you have to select Copy Sim to Phone. All your contacts will be stored in the new phone.

Razr v3 how to transfer phone# to sim card?

Go to your address book. Find the listing you want to transfer to your SIM card. Select it and then go to EDIT. Now scroll down to where it says STORE TO:
It will either say PHONE or SIM. If it says PHONE you will need to select CHANGE. This will allow you to select between PHONE and SIM. Change it to SIM and click on SELECT. It is now saved to your SIM card.
Have a great day!

New Razr v3 Sim Phone address transfer

It's not anywhere in the literature. Before you remove the sim from the old phone copy the address book into the old sim. Then take the old sim out of the old phone and then put it in the new phone. Copy from the old sim into the new phone. Then take out the old sim and put in the new sim and copy from the new phone into the new sim. Your all set.

Transfer contacts list

1. From the standby screen (the first screen when you open your phone), go to the menu.
2. Scroll to the address book and press select.
3. Scroll to the address you wish to copy (or any address if you want to copy all of them) and press the menu key.
4. Go down to copy and press select.
5. Select "Entries" to copy just that one entry or "All to SIM" if you want to copy all your addresses to your SIM card, or "All to Phone" if you want to copy them all to your phone.
6. Select Merge or Override. Merge will combine any addresses that are already on your card with the ones you are now copying, Override will replace anything that is already there with the ones you are now copying. Be careful in deciding which you want to do since Override will delete anything previously saved and merge will duplicate any that were already saved and are being saved again.

Save my address book from old sim card to new phone.

There should be a menu that when you put in a simcard, go to your address book and you can select each contact off the card, then select copy to phone. when you put back in your new sim card you have the option to transfer your contacts to the sim card, although you will then have duplicate copies of contacts and you will need to delete the contacts off the phone if you wish to keep them on the sim card only.

Transferring phonebook from phone to sim card

The razr that i had could only store 4 numbers on the sim card, your phone book is stored on your phone's memory not your sim. I'm pretty sure that you cannot transfer your phone book over to your sim card.
