we have a same pr0blem. The only soluti0n is hold select botton start triangle nd square.den turn ur unit on. The unit will reboot it self nd bck to original fact0ry settings.

Hi there, Please turn off your psp. Before it turns on please hold on "R button". After that you will see a black screen. Please choose configuration, then choose "VSH MENU" (it should be enabled). Choose exit afterwards. Automatically your psp will reset. It will reboot.
From then you can have your psp reset anytime your psp was on. Simply push "select button" and choose reset. That's it!
