Question about Creative Labs CT4870 / CT4780 Sound Card

Soundblaster Audigy not recogized

I recently downgraded my notebook from Vista to XP, however the integrated soundblaster audigy refuses to be recognized by XP and a dozen drivers I have donwloaded cannot install.

Any tips please reply to reinaldo.martinez@gmail.com driver and software 5.1

If you have a legal copy of windows xp, you should use windows update and it should automatically list your hardware drivers also.

Did you try the AutoUpdate? It will automatically detect what driver you need.

click start control panel hardware and sound manage audio devices playaback you should see your speakers right click select enable or you might have to configure them this option will be at the bottom of of the playback list windows7

Just bought new computer with Windows 7 Professional, put in my Soundblaster Audigy 2 sound card, disabled the Realtec card that came with the system, but the computer still doesn't acknowledge that new...


Disable the realtek from bios, then uninstall its drivers.
Reboot
If Soundblaster is not auto detected go to Device Manager and click on menu "Search for new hardware". After your card is detected, install specific drivers
Reboot
and that should do the trick.

I have a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS


Try to reinsert the microphone. Was it working b4 u have installed drivers. The drivers tat u installed should b compatible to ur motherboard.
Check the audio driver connection inside ur cabinet (front panel)
If u use audio splitter, sometimes the microphone may not work

Sound blaster audigy 2 zs pro I/O hub not working


un plug the usb cable from the pc
remove all driver instalations for the car including any apllications that came with it

restart the computer , load the drivers disk (do not plug the usb in till you are asked for it
