Question about Delphi MyFi SA10113 XM Radio Receiver with Home and Car Kit

Myfi headphone problem

The solution you provided is for the headphone wire. The problem is in the female receptacle in the Myfi unit. I cannot figure out how to get to it since the four screws visible in the battery compartment still leave some kind of attachment at the top of the unit where the headphone receptacle is. I can only partially pull the unit apart and cannot get to the jack receptacle (sp?).

Thanks

Unit works fine in a cradle, either at home or in the car, but I am getting nothing through the headphone socket. I'm guessing it's a loose wire somewhere as, initially, the problem was intermittent and I could get sound if I wiggled the wire a little, but now it is completely silent! Would love to get it fixed before the baseball season starts!

When using headset with skyfy3 display says check antenna .

Are you using the special Delphi headphone with the built=in antenna? There is NO antenna built into the SkyFi3 like the MyFi - you must have the special headphones with the antenna built in. okay?

MYFI XM2GO WILL NOT TURN ON. ALSO WHEN I PUT IN CRADLE WILL NOT SHOW CHARGING

I had the same problem. This procedure from the "Technical Questions" section of http://shopdelphi.com/consumers/support/faqs/myfi/ worked for me:
"My MyFi won't power up, how do I reset it?
To reset your MyFi, start by turning the receiver off and removing it from its (car, home, audio system) cradle. Then remove the back cover and battery. Using a small paperclip, press the reset button located on the top left corner of the battery compartment. Now plug the AC power adapter into a wall outlet and plug the power port directly into the bottom of the MyFi (battery stays removed). Wait 10 seconds and listen for a beep. After you hear the beep the message "insert battery" will appear. Cycle the MyFi to ensure it powers up and powers down. If the power cycle is normal, then turn off the MyFi, unplug the power adapter, and reinstall the battery. Re-plug the AC power adapter directly into the bottom of the MyFi. Wait 10 seconds and listen for a beep. After the beep you will see the message "battery charging". Leave the MyFi plugged in until it's fully charged. You will see the message "charging complete" displayed. After the MyFi is fully charged, turn it on and reset to the factory defaults. Unplug the MyFi from the AC power adapter and using the battery power leave it on until it fully discharges (approximately 2-5 hours). Plug the MyFi in using the AC power adapter to recharge the unit and resume normal use. If you need help at any point during this process contact us at 1-877-463-3574 for technical support."

I hope it works for you too.

I can't get my delphi myfi sm radio to work even when I use the AC adapter on the cradle. For a while, it would work and then go off by itself. Now, it won't even go on. What's the problem?

You should: Insert your MyFi into its home stand and plug the AC adapter into the wall to charge the battery. But if its really not charging a battery replacement is already needed for this unit and you can get the battery from a authorize service center.

No reception

your antenna connection inside the unit is broken on the circuit board,i had one of these and repaired it numerous times by taking the unit apart and resoldering the connection at the board, also their antennas don't last long as far as the antenna plug end is concerned

No reception as a portable unit

My experience with the XM2Go is that it never really works well on the portable antenna -- in my case not a complete failure, but that might be because I am in an urban area there are ground transmitters in addition to satellite reception. But any movement disrupts the signal Here's the solution - record some music on myxm (up to 5 hours) while docked, and play that music when not docked to an antenna.

My XM recording plays but doesn't have audio.

Recently I had the same problem - could see it was playing on the screen, but no sound in the headphones. Pulled battery and reinserted. That solved the problem, whatever it was.
