Question about NetGear WGT624 Wireless Router
Are you trying to connect using a laptop or desktop? have you ever connected? More info is needed to answre your question, but generally speaking you should be able to go to start-run-type in cmd and the type ipconfig/all. The default gateway in the list is your netgear router. type that number (192.168.xxx.xxx) into your web browser. This is your wireless routers address within your network. You should be prompted with user name and password. If you are trying to connect from another computer whether it is a desktop with an atenna or a laptop, you should first make sure that the wireless connection is not encrypted. If not, there will not be a lock next to it in available wireless networks. Click on your router name and the operating system should take care of the rest. Sometimes you have to configure windows firewall to allow these connections. You also have to make sure that you computer is set to obtain an ip address automatically. Hope something helps you out.
