Question about MA Audio HK4000D Car Audio Amplifier
I hooked it up and it pounded my speakers too hard,so I got high power subs, but when I hooked it back up I put the ground wire in the positive spot and the positive in the ground wire spot.I heard a spark, then I hooked it up right and It was working but not very loud like it was,I think I popped the internal fuses but don't know what they look like and have never changed anything internally.Usually the fuses are on the outside, but in this one they are inside and I just bought it new yesterday.how do I know where the internal fuses are,and what do they look like?I have the cover off but see no fuses.
All fuses are going to be external (adjacent to the power terminal block).
If it's new, return it. It's under warranty. Any tampering will void the warranty.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
