TAKE IT OUT AND RE-INSTALL IT.CHECK THE JUMPERS AND MAKE SHURE THEY ARE SET TO MASTER OR FACTORY SETTINGS.LOOK AT THE JUMPERS ON THE OLD HARD DRIVE THAT YOU ARE REPLACING AND SET THEM EXACTLY AS THAT DRIVE.CHECK ALL CONNECTORS AND RIBBONS FOR SOLID CONNECTIONS.SOMETIMES,THE PINS INSIDE THE HARDDRIVE CONNECTOR BEND SLIGHTLY.IT IS REALLY HARD TO TELL UNLESS YOU REALLY LOOK AT THEM CAREFULLY.
