Minolta CS/PRO EP 2030 Copier - We just got this machine and I know it is a little old but I willl like to fix it, the only problem it presents - to my knowledge - is that the copies are coming out with a very dark background, I tried changing it to a lighter copy using the Exposure Control Key but although it lightens it a little the background is still not white - it's like a very dark gray all over the page with the black text. Please help!!! Thank you in advance!!! =)

No, in stand-by the exposure lamp should not switch on. What comes on in regular intervals is the heating lamp inside the fusing roler which can be seen from the exit side of the copies. The exposure lamp is under the glass and only comes on and print button is pressed and copy process begins.

A c0200 deal with the scanner. You may have a blown scanning lamp. Dose the scanner find HP & does the scanning lamp turn "ON" it could also be the Lens HP. Was this code before or after you were there? If it was showing upafter you.. it could be that the Black Box is installed wrong.... Good Luck

C000 is a main motor lock code. A developer change may help. It may be two seperate problems too. The fuser unit has some drive gears that tend to break and lock the machine. This is an old analog machine, you REALLY don't need to spend much money on this one.
