Alot of times when you move older tvs you end up jarring things around so it wont work as it should,,,youll find you have something loose somewhere inside the tv

Panasonic cinema vision model pt47wxc43g has double image on bottom of the screen.

Sounds like Convergence Ic's are defective. The best advice would be to contact a Svc. Co.

How do i get the sound from my Philips TV into my samsung 2.1 home cinema system?

Hi,

To get sound from any TV (including Philips) to an amplifier or a home cinema system, the TV should have a LINE OUT RCA pair. Thereafter, it is a simple case of connecting said Line OUt to one of the INPUTs of the cinema system.

Often (but not all), Cinema Systems have their own TV tuner and would provide a video out that could be connected to the Video IN of the TV.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Having just bought a Panasonic TX-37LZD80 television and a panasonic sc-pt460EB-K home cinema system, I connected the 2 together using a HDMI Cable and all works well except that I cannot get the sound...

When I purchased the television iI was told that I would only need a HDMI cable to connect the devices together, this is not true as the HDMI only provides 1 way transmission, to get the sound to go from the television back to the home cinema you need to use either a Phono Lead or Optical lead, plug them in and Hey Presto it works.
