Hi, Try using something like a stylus to type in the letters. I've found with gps' that the touch screens aren't that accurate and almost all fingers are too big to properly type in anything and since a stylus (or even a stick) is much smaller it should be more accurate.

SOURCE: tomtom one touch screen not working properly

Sounds like the calibration has gone on your touchscreen. Unfortunately there is no fix for the tt like you can with Magellan and garmin.

SOURCE: My touch screen keeps messing up, certain letters dont work.

I recommend you backup your favorites.

Then attempt a hard reset.

Finally, replace the firmware and system software using webupdate.
Replacing the system software will most likely correct the malfunctioning keying of letters.

I hope that helps.

SOURCE: my garmin nuvi 670 touch screen is not calibrated

I have a similar problem with my nuvi 660. I discovered a temporary fix is to hold down the power button for 2-3 minutes during power up and the recalibration process is started.

My blitz doesnt text

Try this. Touch Keypad simulates a wireless phone keypad on the touch screen to allow you to enter text, numbers, and symbols just as if you were using a wireless phone keypad. Touch Keyboard simulates a 20-key QWERTY (typewriter) keyboard on the touch screen to allow you to enter text, numbers, and symbols similar to the way you would using a QWERTY keyboard. To use Touch Keypad or Touch Keyboard:  In a program, tap the Input Selector arrow, and then tap Touch Keypad or Touch Keyboard. To type lowercase letters, tap the keys on the dial pad or keyboard. To type a single uppercase letter, tap the Shift key and then tap the corresponding key. To type all uppercase letters, tap the Shift key twice. To change back to all lowercase letters, tap again. To enter a space after the word, tap the Space key. To start a new line, tap the Enter key. To backspace and delete a single character in any input mode, press the Back key. To open the Symbol pad, tap the Symbol key. To change the input mode:  Tap the Input mode key to switch to a different input mode: XT9 (predictive), Multitap (abc), or Numeric (123).

Hope this helps, let me know if this works or if I can help you with anything else.

When i try to type in address the wrong letters keeps coming up

Do a screen calibration. There are different ways to get to it depending on which GPS you have but that usually fixes problems like that.
