If you spoke to someone from tier 1 support, you probably won't get much help. Ask for at least tier 2 support if you ever call them back. You may not have a defective router. Have you installed any programs that may have interfered with the router? Have you scanned your pc for viruses? Why don't you have Verizon send you a modem/router combination. That way, you will only have one unit to connect and you will encounter less problems.
