Question about Televison & Video
Thanks for helping me with this. All of a sudden audio of my TV is gone. It was okay at on emoment and there is no sound at all. Definitely not muted. Tried to connect to dvd, head phone and no luck. Looks like the audio is completely gone. Video is good. Any suggestions
I would first try to determine if the problem is in the audio circuit or in the IF circuit. First you will need an RF signal generator with audio and video modulation this will allow you to inject audio into the set and allow you to track the signal with an oscilloscope. I would make the suggestion by your post that the audio circuit might be defective. However troubleshooting is the best bet. I would suggest that you have a qualified TV technician check the set out.
I hope this helps
