Question about Toshiba Satellite A105 Notebook
I tried installing Windows XP Home Media Center Edition onto my Toshiba A105 laptop. We reformatted the HD and tried using a Windows XP disk my father had laying around. This did not work. I dont have the disk that came with the laptop, but I do have the Product Key number still. How do I do this??? Thank you!!
Unfortunately, you will need to purchase another operating system disc, even though you have the product key. That key is assigned to the disc that came with the machine. Why exactly did the Xp disc of your father's not work?
