How do I turn off closed caption on my 32 inch RCA LED LCD TV

Hello there

If you are connected to a cable box or satellite receiver then the tv does not control the CC , it is turned on/off at the cable box.

Depending on the cable box or sat. receivers model , it depends where you will find it but I can tell you that if you cannot find it in the standard settings/menu then many cable box will have it in the base/setup menu that you can access by turning off the cable box and press menu , this will open a different menu with various items including closed caption

Hope this help and happy tv :)

How to restore sound on your Poaroid flm3232 LCD TV

With perfect video but no audio, I first tried Restoring Global unlock but it did not work. Then I plugged in headphones to side of Polaroid flm3232 and got sound! Then I took my 2 stereo external speakers from my computer and plugged them into the side of the tv and got perfect sound..better than from the original internal speakers of the Polaroid....Easy instant fix AND didn't have to spend a lot of money by taking it to a repair shop. Good luck anyone who has the same probllem.

How do i setup my tv through surround sound without a cable box?

Unfortunately Without the cable box you will have to screw the coax cable into the coax input on the tv or You can screw the coax cable into a vcr and then plug the Audio / Video RCA plugs from VCR out to TV RCA input (You will have to control the channels from the VCR and the volume from the TV remote)

There is a "hissing" sound on low volume. Whazzup?

Do you have a cable box connected to it? I'm sure you do .. You might have the TV or the cable box at max volume ..

If you are using the TV as the main volume control try to lower the volume from the cable box, maybe to mid volume.

If you are using the Cable box as the main volume try doing the opposite from the above..

Hope this helps.

Subtitles will not remove from t/v even when subtitle button is pushed on remote control

The sub titles are being generated by your Cable box or the Sat box. Sub titles are generated from two different sources: Cable Box,Satellite Box,U-Verse Box etc.
Check the settings in those sources and make suer the sub title is turned OFF in the tv set.
