Part way thro reinstalling windows xp i get erroe message and can not use mouse or keyboard to continue

You have a faulty cpu or motherboard, it will go so far then overheat and freeze the system

is it a usb keyboard? If so it must be enabled in BIOS. Also if enabled OK, then when at desktop next,, unplug and re-plug into another usb socket and it should be detected and a driver will install, thaat may fix it?

There likely may be no XP Drivers for this model. If thats the case your choices are Vista or Windows 7 (Windows 7 Only if the system is capable)

Keyboard not working!


Let your computer boot as normal.Go to Device manager>under keyboards your wireless keyboard should show. If its not there reload it from the set up disc that came with your hardware i.e keyboard and mouse.If its listed enable it or uninstall and reinstall.
