I am trying to run the "clean washer" cycle. I put the washer on 'spin' then press the 'clean washer' button, it beeps three times, then nothing. The "clean washer" light does not come on. nor do the wash temps lights change.

Your Frigidaire washer (FAFS4474LW0) will automatically prompt you to run the CLEAN WASHER cycle typically every 50 cycles. If you wish to begin the cycle, press SELECT when prompted. This maintenance cycle uses hot water and two rinses to remove residue that may cause odor. For best results, I recommend to use the CLEAN WASHER cycle once a month

You may press the CANCEL button to manually perform the cycle at another time if you prefer. You can do this by following these directions:

·Rotate cycle knob to Rinse & Spin
·Then press the CLEAN WASHER option button
·The LCD screen will display "SYSTEM CLEAN"

Unplug it and retry another cycle. If it still does not finish the cycle remove the clamp on the boot and look for another object in there.

i had the same problem a year ago. nothing seemed to work. we even got a new washer, same problem. we ended up putting the washer on its own circuit. works fine now.

Turn off the machine then unplug it for at least 15 minutes and plug it back. Turn the washer on then press any button and wait for 5 seconds. Press and hold the START/PAUSE and CANCEL buttons simultaneously and the most recent error code will appear on the display as an "E" followed by two numbers, a number and a letter or two letters. The control will beep and the Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, and Final Spin indicator lights will flash. Post back the error code to determine the problem and necessary actions to be undertaken in order to address it. Include also the exact model number of the machine if the foregoing instructions don't seem to be applicable with your machine.

This issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs, you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely. F02 means that there is a problem with your user interface control board. A button could be stuck on the board. Try pushing all the buttons to make sure that none is stuck. Most likely u will need to replace your user interface.

The machine identifies and indicates some operational errors through a series of beeps.As you are using LG WM2455 Front load Washer it is showing error message The error message "DE" This error signal beep during drain.Unhook/clean drain pipe and press the 'Start/Pause' button to continue cycle.Thanks for your question.

I was doing a search for infor on how to clean my affinity front load washer, and came across this infor and this did not work for me either, but when I turned my dial to rinse and spin then hit clean the clean option appeared.

Thanks to a couple of previous responders, 6 months of frustration has now ended - I can now run the Tub Clean on my LG Steam Washer! I first want to say that it is important not to get excited and start pushing buttons randomly, as I think I had been doing for all these months when I couldn't get Tub Clean to work by pushing the button in for 3 seconds. Just do the following, which combines and expands on a couple of previous responses:

1. I had to deactivate the Spin Sense, and if your Spin Sense is ON, you will have to do this too. (It is ON if the spin speed light flashes while any of the wash cycles is in progress. If spin speed button does not flash while a wash cycle is in progress, the Spin Sense is already off.) So how to deactivate Spin Sense? Select Speed Wash, and start the cycle. Let it run for about 20 seconds and THEN push and HOLD IN in the Spin Sense option button for 3 seconds. The blinking spin speed button will stop blinking and you will then know that the Spin Sense is OFF.

2. Once Spin Sense is off: Start with your machine turned off. Then push the power button on and select the RINSE AND SPIN option button. Then START the Rinse and Spin cycle. Let it run for about 5 seconds and then PUSH IN AND HOLD THE TUB CLEAN OPTION BUTTON FOR 3 SECONDS. You will then see the little LED light panel show something that looks like tcl. And you are there! Just leave it alone .... the LED will change to one hour and 25 minutes. And it will clean your machine just great.

3. Don't forget to put your bleach in the detergent cup before you start all of this.

I want to thank the two responders above who gave me the essential features for this fix. I forgot to make a note of their names before I started this response, but you can see who they are. I am so excited. Now EVERYTHING works on my LG Steam Washing Machine. I love this machine. It is a miracle of cleaning, especially since I own 4 large breed dogs and am washing and sanitizing large hairy and smelly bedding each and every day. And I no longer have to iron anything - I just use the steam cycle to unwrinkle our clothes. Best washer I have ever owned (and I have owned another major brand of large capacity front loading washer before - no comparison).
