Question about Samsung SCX-4216F All-In-One Laser Printer
As above, but does transmit in G3 OK.
What this means is that local faxes go OK but International transmissions are a hit or a miss!
I cannot find anything on the Samsung pages.
ECM mode stands for "Error Correction Mode". This feature aids in compensating for bad line conditions. However, when dialing international calls, you cannot assess the condition ot the various telephone service companies your call might be going through. If you can transmit without problem locally, then there is no problem in your machine. You should then call your telephone company and get them to check you line connection under the argument that long-distance or international calls cannot be completed.
