Most memory upgrade stick can be bought at your local store that carries computers if you order it from gateway you will pay a lot more then its worth.Sometimes you do have to buy them off the web which is a very easy process, most of them you enter your model number and they will recommend which ones you should buy.I would suggest a company called Newegg.com I have ordered several products from them over the years always satisfied.

GATEWAY 5670 WIPE CLEAN

Hello,

You need the following:

1. Operating System's Disc
2. Drivers and Utilities Disc (you can also download the drivers from the website of gateway.)
3. Anti-virus
4. Programs that you want to add to your computer.
It would be a very long post if I provide you with the complete reinstallation steps. You can find a good tutorial in youtube for that. Just search for how to reinstall windows ? . Where ? is the name of the operating system like 7, XP, Vista, or 8.
After doing the clean installation. You would need to install the drivers into your computer. Next. Antivirus and the programs. You might also want to add some tech software like RadarSync. This software will make sure that all drivers in your computer are updated. Drivers are small software which can make your computer to work fine.
If you have any questions, please drop me a line.

Bought a Gateway Netbook LT25 loaded with Windows XP. Was told by the salesman that I could upgrade to Windows 7, so I bought the software. Somehow, I screwed up the directions & ended up with Windows...

Try updating Win 7. Go to Programs and find Windows Update.

Microsoft might be able to provide the drivers automatically.

Afterwards visit www.intel.com/support/detect.htm

And run their auto detect tool. It works best if you run in Internet Explorer ;)

If you're still missing stuff, let me know and I'll help you track down what's left.

Sounds like the ink feed head is clogged (where the ink drops into the printer). Also make sure the cart. is not dried up (not likeley) but usally will show empty if it is. depending on the model of the printer it may have a print head cleaning option but if not you can clean it with a Qtip and mild soap solution.

You can go www.symantec.com and learn how to remove the virus from your computer. I found out it easier to do a full wipe and then do a system restor, if you have the disc to do with.

It appears that you are using Windows 98 as your operating system, if this is the case it is not compatible with the newer Ipod software. The new Ipod's require at least Windows XP service pack 2, Vista, or newest Mac software. Here is a link to Apple's website so you can check the system requirements in the support section. http://www.apple.com/support/

My recovery CD (gateway 7330gz PC) are no working

I have the same problem with my Gateway 7330gz. My laptop got infected with spywares and it was so annoyed that I have to think about recover the system. So I did it with Gateway Recovery software. I chose the recovery option (press F11 when boot up)from hard drive since my dvd drive was broken. It went well but when it boots up again and Windows XP says detecting and installing the drivers and such, it was frozen haft way through. I turned off power many times to reboot but it kept freezing at that point. I search Internet for help and seen this post. Wonderful! I press F2 to go to BIOS setup screen, use right arrow key to move to Advance menu option. There I use down arrow key to select SpeedStep, hit (-) key to disable it. Then F10 to save and exit, hit enter for OK button. The system boots again but this time it was no longer freezing, the setup process went through ok and continues...I am so happy and type this message so it might help others with the same issue. Thanks
