Try flipping the switch on the RCA cables where it connects to the back of the xbox.. you might have it switched to HD.. or the other way around.

My xbox does not show up but i can hear everything.

The display chip at the back, it is called the "scaler" chip has overheated, you need to stop the heat build up and to do this you can use a good guide or send it in.

I can hear sound but i cant see anything

You're problem is most likely caused by melted heat sink compound (found on eBay shipping to Canada included for 3$) thats what happened to mine, so ship it back if its on its warranty if not, check it open and watch a vidio HOW on you tube.

My Xbox 360 won't show up on my tv screen

This problem is common and is usually fixed the same way that RROD is fixed by doing an Xclamp fix. If it is not just a cabling issue than that is what the problem is.

Screen won't show up but this is diffrent

This happened to mine and it had to be sent back to be repaired (3rd time) as the graphics card had failed; it started with the display colours looking strange, then the picture went totally. If you can hear everything working (beeping/whooshing" as you go through the "blades", it sounds like you have the same problem. below is how to reset to the default display sttings just in case anything has gone wrong on this.

To reset the display settings of the Xbox 360 console to the default settings, follow these steps: (Copy and pasted from Microsoft support pages)
  1. Remove any discs from the disc tray.
  2. Turn the console off.
  3. Turn the console on.

Note If you are using an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, turn the console on by using the Xbox Guide button on the controller.

Note Make sure that you use the player 1 controller when you do this. The player 1 controller is the controller where the upper-left quadrant light is on.
  4. As the console starts, press and hold the Y button, and then pull the right trigger at the same time. This causes the Xbox Dashboard to reset the display settings to the default settings and then automatically restarts the console. So it's OK when the Xbox 360 console restarts.

If this doesn't work then try phoning XBOX Support on 0800 587 1102.

Xbox 360 problem

If you can still HEAR sound, but can't see. Check your Audio Video Cable.

It's the colorful one (red, white, yellow) (red, blue green, white, red)

Make sure the connections are secure into the back of the TV as well as the connection to the back of the Xbox 360.

Rats. Sorry to hear that. You've got a broken console. If it's under warranty still just get your serial number off the back and call 1-800-4MY-XBOX for repair or replacement.
