Re: download moives and vidoes on my ipod
Put your cd in your computer with iTunes pulled up. Th video should appear on the screen. Check the box next to it and click import. The video should be added to iTunes. When you sync your ipod, go to the movies tab. Your vidoe should be under there. Check the box next to it on the left. When you sync your ipod, it will be on there for you to enjoy.
I am not 100% sure it will work. I haven't tried it for movies, but I have tried it for music, and it worked.

As I know iPod only support MP4 vidoe format with H264 code, and the largest resolution of iPod classic is about 640*480, so I suggest you to use Leawo iPod Converter to convert your video to MP4 and then sync into your iPod.
Have you converted the music to your player using the media convertor programme that comes along witht the ipod. If not please dowwnloadd or load the cd that came along, erase off all the loaded files from the player, maybe save them to a folder, and then convert and send them to the philips player. You must repeat the same for vidoe if this model has a display. Since you ahve not specified the model, i hope this advice should hold good. Good day
First of all. For the video issue. You may not be putting the vidoes in the right spot, where the player searches for them. Or if you are, in the right format. The e260 comes with a CD which contains a PDF manual and a utility for putting vidoes on the e260. If you arent using the utility that came with the e260 you wont get the vidoes to work because they will either be in the wrong format or spot. As the folder which they are supposed to go into is hidden, you must ask windows or your os to show hidden files/folders to manually insert the videos. As for your USB problem, Turn on the player and press the power button breifly to return the the modesd/welcome screen. Scroll through until you see settings and hit the enter button [The button inbetween the scroller] Then use the blue scroller to scroll down through the entire list until you see a setting called USB Mode. Hit enter again and in most cases select MSC. This should fix your problem. If it doesnt, attempt at updating the frimware of the player.
You may want to try calling apple. even if it is no longer under warranty, they can still provide you with helpful information as to whether its repairable or not...if under warranty, they will most likely repair it...or send you a new or refurbished one. Otherwise, it may be more worth it to get a new one, unfortunately.
