Soundcast act 211 wireless audio system wireless interference w/airport

I am a teacher trying to get wireless music from laptop to room speakers. I am not allowed to use my own airport because they say it will interfere with the school network wireless. I am now trying a soundcast act 211 system. When I plug it in, my wireless school network/internet airport connection disappears. I have tried all 3 channels without consistent success. Any fixes for this? Thank You

I'm not familiar with this product but my guess would be that the wireless signal from the audio transmitter is either overriding the wireless in your room.

You might want to consider going to a bluetooth system. It's range is only 30 ft and it doesn't impact wi-fi equipment.

Problem getting my bose soundlink to play blue tooth audio from my laptop.

Hi Sirtuan.

Go to the system panel, there choose "sound" . a list with all available sound devices appear. search for your bose soundlink and make it your "standard device".
had the same prob. with my BT headset and this works for me.

if your bose get disconnected the sound should automatically switch to pc speakers.

Regards
Gue.

Usually this happens when you have a damaged power supply. Once you replace it everything goes back to normal. You can contact tech@soundcastsystems.com for support on this.

Zeppelin Ipod station When I switch the docking station on the red light flashes intermitently. When it does eventually switch on and I play the ipod, there appears to be some interference sound.

the red flasing and the interference relates to the power supply unit, this is common and known to b and w. if you have not contacted the service desk or the supplier, suggest you do so to get the problem resolved.

Using the soundlink wireless music system. was working fine. suddenly, both aux light and wireless light are on. not getting sound output from PC. how do I turn 'aux' off? pressing the 'sux' button...

Hi,

Simply plug the small USB key into your computer, turn on the SoundLink system and select your music--iTunes, Pandora®, whatever you like. That's it. No networks to configure, no cables to run. And you can control your music using the handy remote.

Remove the battery in the machine and put back. Also, remove the battery in the remote and insert a good battery.

To turn off youe aux simply press the aux botton on your phone i am sure it will work.

Thanks for contacting Fixya

Wireless speakers?

There are many available on the market the type you should buy depends directly upon the type of connections that you have on the audio output.

Most wireless speakers have a sender unit that connects into the 3.5 mm stereo jack plug socket of your audio source, but you can get a stereo splitter to L R audio if that is what you have, this will still work. Also look for ones that have 2 channels or more so that you can choose the best of all the possible signal frequencies.

The other question is how big is your house the range of most is only 10 meters where still get a quality signal they will work over an longer range but your quality will suffer.
