Question about Sewing Machines
I pushed the lever and it feel now I can't get it to catch and stay up. How do I do it? I cannot get the feed dogs to stay in the up position. I took off the plate and lifted them up with the screwdriver and they clicked into place, but when I started to sew they went back down. I did try holding the lever in the up position and turning the wheel one full turn, didn't help.
Something I read made me realize that the owner's manual assumed you were looking at the machine from the back rather than from the front. I had been moving the lever in the wrong direction.
