I have installed this product, checked and rechecked to make sure I've done it as per the manual, ran two solid power sources to it, one constant (for the dome lights) the other keyed for the main power so that it won't play when the car is off and I can get no sound out of the unit. I have run through all the menus but I just can't figure it out. I wrote support but so far they haven't responded. Is there anything else I can check or is there something faulty going on here? I even ran through each of the fm channels it's supposed to transmit on. It acts as if it accessing the radio but there is still no sound. And, no sound from the units included speakers either.
The manual talks about "initialization" and "Audio Shift" but never defines them or tells you how to go about checking them.

you need to make sure the ir sensors on the tv are conected. to do this track down the plug from the tv that goes to the dvd make sure the audio cables on the tv are also connected to dvd and not just the video cable
I ran across of alot of lcd head units that requiers the parking brake wire connected so it will show the video, (usually just audio if parking brake not on). But if you connect that wire to a proper ground (screen always on) or a grounded switch so you can control it maually (turn it on or off when you choose)
If it's a Rosen dvd player the dvd will need to be put in the unit itself & not the unit in the dashboard! The dvd player mounted in the head ligning is a seperate unit from the stereo system fitted in your dashboard!
Sounds to me like you are putting a dvd into the dashboard stereo system which will play any audio through the car speakers...
Put a dvd into the Rosen unit itself & i am sure you will get a picture on the drop down screen! Remember that as far as i know all Rosen dvd players transmit the sound from the dvd to infra red headphones that should be included! Remember to check the batteries if you still can't hear any sound as they run down quick if the headphones are left on!
Hey honestly what you need to do is send the unit back to pyle and they will repair it. I have the same issue 2 times. What they say is the players power supply went out and that 80% of issues with the pyle products are improper installation. I am selling mine and you should do the same after you get the player back. I hope I could help
