Question about Fuji Cameras

6 Answers

I just purchased a Kodak printer to print my digital pictures. When I try to look at the pictures wheather the memory chip is in the camera or directly in the printer it will only read 46 of the 200 or - pictures on the chip. The chip is fine in my old Lexmark printer and my chips from my old sony camera work fine in the new printer? It is a Kodak 5300 AIO printer

Try to sort your pictures by folder. On your computer, open your pictures on the chip. Create different folders like 3 to 4 folders and distribute your pictures there. Then check if it your camera or printer can read all 200 pics.

O.k. let me see if I have this straight. You can view all the 200 or so pics on the lexmark, but not the camera or kodak printer, right? Have you tried the chip in a computer to veiw the pics? Because the sounds like a malfunctioning chip or corrupted files/pics problem.

Devices that are designed for memory stick media, support specific format types, and must be formatted in the target device, not in your computer.

If that's the case try connecting the the camera to your computer then print all the pictures then format your memory chip to make sure this is not a problem with the memory chip...

Hope that helps.......

The C310 will accept SD cards up to 2GB in size and SDHC cards up to 32 GB. 1GB SD cards are getting hard to find, but 2GB cards should work just as well.

BTW, FixYa doesn't have an online store.

If you have a PictBridge-compatible printer, you can simply connect the camera to the printer using the USB cable.

Alternatively, you can copy pictures from the internal memory to a memory card. Press the Review button, then press the Menu button. Press up/down to highlight Copy, then press OK. Continue on to select your desired options.

We insert a memory chip into our Kodak EasyShare C190 camera. The read-out informs us that the memory card requires formatting. We click on "OK." The camera goes into a "formatting" mode, then informs us...

Your camera is only supporting SD/MMC Cards (up to 2 GB) and KODAK SDHC Cards (up to 8 GB).
The card that you currently have might be faulty. Please try another card.
You might also need to switch the camera over to saving pictures directly onto the SD card.1: Menu, Cam settings, Chose AUTO or SD card option Press OK
Note: If the SD card isn't in the camera or is unreadable the camera will automatically go back to saving you taken pictures on the internal memory.

Memory Card Requires Formatting

Hey B418,
Formatting will delete all your pictures on your camera or memory card. The camera might be prompting you to format because the the camera's memory is full. To avoid losing your pictures I would connect your camera to a computer, download your images to your computer first, and then format the memory.

Sincerely,
Allan

POOR QUALITY PICTURES FROM MEMORY CARD

Gota be a printer fault, either in the printer itself or the printer/pc communication software, could possibly be corrupted, maybe you should try a reinstall of all printer software as first step
