Question about HP LaserJet 3390 All-in-One Multifunction Printer
My LaserJet 3390 is having problems printing PDF files. Sometimes when I go to print a PDF, nothing happens with the computer and the printer just says "Error in print queue". I'm on Windows XP Pro. On a side note, this printer has been upgraded to the max with 192MB RAM. I can't figure anything out with the error the printer is giving me, help!

Hey look, sorry for all the BS you've been given. Its an issue here.
How much ram does your laser jet hold right now?
This would be the choke point on an HP laser jet.
A typical PDF file in high res can be many many megabytes in size and the HP Laser treats these documents as an image file, same in true in Windows, but uses local ram not printer ram like an Apple.
So, if you have a 256K chip, its possible, on your printer and the file is 4-6 MBs in size, you could be looking at a 16-20 minute print job.
I'm not familiar with any tricks to get your printer to use local ram as a cache. If you have Boot Camp, you might consider starting that emulator up and printing from that interface. No real hope for a difference but its worth the try.
Hope that give you some real thoughts to chew over.

pdf documents are historically slow, they usually depend on how they are created and how many attachments or upgrades have been added to the document. this accounts for some of the variations of speed the documents are printed.
