I cannot figure out how to hook this device up to my iPhone. HELP!

Make the Plantronics discoverable (put it into "pairing mode")
Master instructions at http://plantronics.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/plantronics.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=17509&p_sid=EEbxMesk&p_lva=8271
For the 330,
  1. Start with your headset powered off.
  2. Press and hold the call control/power button for 5 or 6 seconds until the light starts flashing an alternating red-blue (the Discovery 975 flashes an alternating red-white).
  3. Release the button and set the headset aside.
Now you are in PAIRING MODE.
On the iPhone, Go to
SETTINGS GENERAL BLUETOOTH
And then look in the DEVICES list for the device, which should include the model number.
Touch the device
Pairing should be automatic at that point. If you need a passcode, it is 0000.

I just got my 330 and my phone is not recognizing or finding the bluetooth. I let it charge for two hours. Does it need more time?

Perhaps you didn't follow the instructions close enough. The link below for the Plantronics Explorer 300 series should help. Make sure there are no other bluetooth devices loaded on your mobile. Removing the battery of the mobile for a few seconds can help to reset the phone.

Music

The Plantronics Explorer 330 doesn't have the A2DP technology (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) for streaming music, you need to look for a headset that has the A2DP Bluetooth profile built in like the new Plantronics M50. The Plantronics M50 is a new model which is now available and is in the $47 range.

Below is a link to the M50.

Setting up headset with treo

Not sure which Palm Treo you have, but after reading through some of the info on the different sites it states that some bluetooth devices were easily installed and others were not. It may be one of the Treo's that may need an application to download an update. Some of these were released according to the information I read, that did not have DUN installed. Whether this has anything to do with pairing your bluetooth device, I am not sure. I couldn't find a spec page for your application. Usually it is just a simple matter of going to the bluetooth application on your phone and turning on your bluetooth headset. They find each other and you have success. I would recommend talking to Plantronics tech help line at 800-544-4660 x 5538.
