SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

The ps3 keeps on giving me dns error 80710102 and i dont know how to do the accounts and other stuff like tht cuz im only 13 also i dont know who my service provider is actually

if your isp is Roadrunner one fix is:
-When configuring your PS3 network (regardless of wired or wireless), use the manual option. If you use DHCP, leave address resolution at automatic
-Change DNS server entry to manual.

The DNS addresses are:

208.67.222.222 or/and 208.67.220.220

Once replaced, you should have no problem logging in.

Hi all\r\n Newbie to servers, ive been given an computer with server 2003 loaded on it it has been through the first stage setup and now im with a few things, mainly when i run the email and internet...

DNS-servers translate names, such as 'www.fixya.com' to IP-addresses, because routing of IP-packets on the Internet is done using the IP-addresses, not by using the names of each computer.

If you have a router between your computers and your cable-modem (or DSL-modem), then the router can automatically supply the "Primary DNS Server" and "Secondary DNS Server" and "IP Address" to your server computer, if you configure the network-adapter on the server to "automatically obtain an IP Address".

As long as you leave your server running, the "dynamic" IP-address that it obtains will, in effect, become a "static" (namely "non-changing") IP-address.

Internet connection dropping out

Hi powergirl_18

The problem is that your router is trying to connect to the ISP's DNS IP and it's not always connecting. This is a common problem (especially with Cable subsribers Road Runner) You will need to log into your router and go to the Basic Setting and manually put in a DNS number that will work. You should contact your ISP to obtain the IP that will work. If not you can try 209.15.151.2. That's a dedicated DNS, and sometimes it works, and sometimes not. You really need to get a good one from your ISP.

Good Luck

DNS error

you can get the dns setting by connecting a computor to the broadband the steps are
  1. goto 'start'
  2. goto 'run'
  3. type 'cmd.exe'
  4. in the commmand prompt type 'ipconfig' , it gives all the details about your broadband.
DNS error generaly means that there is nothing wrong with your system but ther must be a problem with your internet provider..

I connot connect in internet eithernet not ditected

This will work: first thing I'd do is change your DNS settings on the PS3 to the open DNS numbers which are 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220

Want to know my TCP/IP preffrered DNS and alternate DNS

Hi,

DNS are ISP specific. They are normally provided by the network/company that gives you Internet access. The DNS then would be different from ISP to ISP, location to location.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
