I would like to know if a KX-TG6531 be added to a KX TGA711E system? We currently have asked BT to add 5 extra lines in our building. We have 3 of the panosonic KX TGA711E and only need 3 more. I have came across the KX-TG6531. Would we be able to set these up so they all work from the 6 lines? Thanks

SOURCE: I have kx-tg6531 4pcs set out of 1 hand set we

You may need to set the main handset to synchronize with the base unit plugged into the telephone wall jack and assign special configuration numbers to the other handsets in order to properly identify each one within a specified location. One handset left in the turned on mode may make it impossible to place calls with the any of the other handsets. This will continue until either the battery dies or fails on the handset or the phone is switched off and replaced in its charger for charging again. Synchronize the main handset by pressing the MENU button on the handset, then pressing the down button IN order to select the number you wish to assign to that handset. Repeating this process if you have already done so will greatly decrease the level of errors experienced with panasonic phones MORE USEFUL INFORMATION FOR ALL YOUR ELECTRONICS When troubleshooting these units, there are always several variables to consider. First check to see what last occurred with the unit such as did the children play video games, did the electricity go out due to bad weather. You may see that there are many possibilities but let's focus on what occurred last to the unit. Once we determine what happened last, we may isolate the actual cause of the problem. The actual cause may be associated with projection issues, older versions (Picture tube), interference from devices located nearby, and even a radio turned on and located really close to your unit. This is normally known as electromagnetic interference to electronics and is very common with the error you have provided today. Please continue to look for anything EXTERNAL to the unit before looking at the internal components. I have been working on these a long time so feel free to follow up with me.

How to erase messages on land line Panasonic phone answering machine Model # KX-TG885SK ?

Do you want to erase all messages? Are you looking at the handset, the base or are you calling the KX-TG885SK remotely?

1) At the base, press Erase during playback of a message to delete the current message. To erase all messages from the base, press Erase twice when the phone system is in standby mode (no active calls/incoming calls).

2) From a handset, use the menu to access the Answering Device sub menu and choose play new message or play all messages. (Alternatively, press Menu # 3 2 3 to play new messages or Menu # 3 2 4 to play all messages.) During playback of a message, press * 4 or pause the message. After pausing the message, highlight Erase and press Select. Confirm this. To erase all messages, choose Erase All messages (Menu # 3 2 5) and follow the prompts to confirm (highlight Yes and press Select). You can also press * 5 to erase all messages from the Answering Device sub menu.

3) During a remote call, *4 and * 5 work as above when using the handset.

See pages 70, 71, and 74 in the operating manual. The manual is available on the Add-on Handset page: https://shop.panasonic.com/cordless-corded-telephones/telephone-handsets/KX-TGFA61B.html . The current link to the manual is http://help.panasonic.ca/viewing/ALL/KX-TG885SK/OI/TG885SK_PNQP1397ZA/TG885SK_PNQP1397ZA.pdf .

I hope this helps.

How do I install my Panasonic KXTGA401 phone?

The KX-TGA401 is a handset for specific Panasonic cordless telephone systems. Connecting the handset requires registering (pairing) it with the base and if the base can support another handset. First make sure that the base is plugged into an active phone line (land line) and that the power adapter is plugged in and working properly. Charge the handset before attempting the registration process.

Then make sure that the phone system is in standby (no calls). Press and hold the Locator button on the base for about 5 seconds (wait until the tone sounds). If all of the handsets that are already registered ring, press and release the Locator button and then press and hold it again. Once you hear the registration tone (some models), place the new handset in the charger on the base. Wait for the long beep and the registered symbol to appear.

If the not registered symbol appears, try registering by using the handset menu. Press Menu # 1 3 0 (the key below 9 and individual number keys) on the handset. Press and hold the locator button until you hear the registration tone as above. Then press Select and Save on the handset within 90 seconds of hearing the registration tone. Wait for the handset and base to complete the registration process. You'll hear a long beep.

The first registration method is given in the manual for the handset, http://help.panasonic.ca/viewing/ALL/KX-TGA401/OI/TGA401_PNQX2390ZA/TGA401_PNQX2390ZA.pdf. The second is from the page 31 of the manual for the KX-TG653x (KX-TG6531 base) system, ftp://ftp.panasonic.com/telephone/om/kx-tg6511_mul_om.pdf . The KX-TGA401 handset works with other bases as well. You may want to check the manual for your phone system in case there are differences. Other compatible phone systems are the KX-TG401x, KX-TG403x, and KX-TG651x.

I hope this helps.

I have panasonic phone kx-t7730 i want add one more line plz help

Since a 7730 is just a phone, you need a bit more information. It plugs into a Pana KSU, typically a TA 624/824 for that model era. A TA starts as a 308 meaning 3 lines 8 phones and grows to 8 lines 24 phones by adding another 308 and 208 card. So, if you're adding line 4, you need to have the expansion card to make it work. These systems come with at least 2 and maybe up to 6 manuals. I would hope you don't plan on "adding one more line" without it.

How many phones can we use at a time in our office? We have 3 currently and six jacks. Can we add more phones?

I'm guessing yes, but it depends on what system it's plugged into. In the U.S. Panasonic sytems come in 308, 616 and 824 models in the TA series, but only 4x4 default in the TAW-848.
These would be the systems most common for the 7731 phone.

So, when you locate the cabinet, if it's a TA-624/824, then you'll see a board with 11 modular jacks, 3 for lines and 8 for extensions. In the 848, it will be 4 lines and 4 extensions if it has not been expanded. If it's an old KXT30810/61610, you'll see the extra jacks on the sytem.

I have installed an 8 port slt card and cannot get the extensions to dial out. Can receive incomming but not make internal or external calls

If you installed the 208 or 308 extension card, you also added 2 or 3 extra C.O. lines. When you dial "9" you are accessing lines that don't exist (the new highest lines).

Go into system programming and choose option 3.3 or program 400 and disable the additional lines.
