Question about Epson Stylus CX7800 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Epson CX7800 print head not working

The printerhead only prints certain colors, and only when it wants to. The yellow and blue pretty much don't work all the time and the black and magenta are tempermental at best. I tried running the cleaning function to no avail and I even bought some of the ink desolving solution, but that didn;'t help either. Is there a way to get a new print head, are these expensive?

It would be better if you get a new printer or the best to use is vodk and leave it over night to get rid of all the dryed ink

You may have blocked print head nozzles.
Try the printer maintenance to clear the printer nozzles.
After several deep cleaning attempts and there is no improvements in the print then a new print head is required.
A new print head maybe expensive and it maybe more cost effective to purchase a new printer.

Epson stylus cx7800 nozzle check blue color missing. prints are all orange & yellow in color. My printer has a mind of it's own. After a few days it goes back to normal...been this way for ages.

In view of this being a CX7800 problem mis-posted in the C86 section, and, it seems, Smithbrother having lost interest in the problem, let's call it "solved by poster".

I have the same problem. Your printer head is clogged. You can use the head cleaning utility within Epson. However, if that doesn't work, you may need to use a head cleaning solution.
