I have a Samsung Blast, and I got two polaroid 1G micro SDs as birthday gifts. Go figure I would get two of the same thing that doesn't want to work.

For some reason some cellphones don't like the Polaroid sd's. i had to go get a sanDisk micro, it works fine now.
i even formatted the Polaroid and it still did not work.
my nokia likes the Polaroid ...go figure.

Cannot format sd card

You are probably trying to format a micro-SD card that is greater than 2GB eg, micro-SDHC (High Capacity) of 4GB or bigger are not supported by 'older' devices. Stick to 1Gb or 2Gb standard microSD cards for your device.

Hope it helps. Let me know how you go.

Turn off write protection on a sd micro card

If you are using it with the SD adaptor, the swith at the side marked lock is not to secure the micro sd card within the adaptor. This is the write protection. If you set this to the 'unlocked' position (up) then you should be able to write files onto it!
