Code F - 51 keeps coming up. How do I stop this so I can wash with out resetting?
You could clean the rps sensor with rubbing alcohol. tip machine back, remove the rotor with al allen wrench. remove the (4) 5/16" bolts holding the stator on, carefully unclip the rps sensor. (Rotor Position Sensor). Remove the wire clip and clean the contacts. Reassemble and give it a try. Or have your dealer ( unless its sears as they WILL NOT help you, call yourself, 800-253-1301) and see if they will give you a one time goodwill gesture to their customer and cover it under warranty. If cleaning doesn't help you need the control board, wire harness, and rps sensor replaced. the rps sensor should come with the new harness. Whirlpool may cover parts????? hope this helps
