Screen blurs when conected to xbox 360

Hello depending on what type of input u use there is a switch on the cable nearest the cable end that is labeled TV and HDTV if you are using all five cables to connect the xbox then put the switch to HDTV, if you are useing the yellow, red, and white then put the switch in TV mode.

Plays dvds on xbox 360 fine, but no picture for games/dashboard

already solved it. thanks. i couldn't see the xbox settings blade because of the blank screen so switched my component cable to the tv setting instead of the hdtv setting, then i could see the dashboard in non-hd and switched the resolution to 720p while simultaneously switching the component cable back to the hdtv setting. that worked.

52 in RCA

The RCA needs a flyback if its an ITC222 chassis which is waht the D52W20 RCA is. You can get a replacement flyback at the following link with free tech support so you can do the repair yourself which is a very easy repair. You need flyback number 259296. As far as the XBOX you should never play any video games on a rear projection TV as it can cause burn in on the CRTs if it is paused. video games are best played on a direct view, plasma or LCD TV. Rear projections like the RCa is not a good idea because of the possible burn in. heres a link to your flyback 259296
