Reg:- Laptop OS booting Problem

My Laptop is not start.

    the screen wont do anything but the lights above the key bord light up. then it dose noting. some times it will worke tho.

    When I press the power button the green light comes on and there is a fan or disk noise for a few seconds before total silence. Nothing at all appears on the screen.

This laptop series is known to have a poorly designed cpu fan that clogs easily and as a consequence overheats.  Instead of me quoting the whole thing, just go here

Have you installed the Windows OS on the new HDD? Insert the new Windows OS in the DVD rom drive, shut down, Unplug, remove battery, plug in, at boot the new OS DVD should start and ask Press any key to boot from CD/DVD, tap key.

When i start my laptop the system doesnt boot and gets stuck after main memory check page. I need a help on this. When ever i power on system doesnt read os to laod at all and shows blank...


You will need a WinXP CD....
insert the CD and re-boot...
if boot seq is not set to boot from CD change it
restart PC...immediatly press either (F1, F2, Del) key to got to BIOS menu....
look for boot seq,
change the 1st boot dev to CD/DVd rom
save and exit BIOS menu
re-boot....
let the PC boot from CD
follow on screen inst...to reapir the OS or reinstall OS

Hi i am having a problem with my HP compaq nc6220 laptop my OS is crashed i think when i insert OS CD as soon as the setup starts the machin shutdown


you need to change the boot order to start the PC on the CD driver.At start up press F2 or F12 i not sure just look it before the OS logo appears.at the boot menu change the boot to the CD driver.

My Acer 6930 laptop won't turn on all the way...


Hi there please try the steps below mentioned.
Please restart your laptop when its booting press F8 key .

56ee508.jpg You will find few option asking for selection. Select that by using up/down arrow key. Select " Last know good configuration" & press Enter. NO w select the OS & enter again. Laptop restart automatically. After that If no success then format the Operating system & reinstall again.

How do i install an oparating system in an acer laptop 4230 samueul


to install OS in laptop,its like to install OS to PC.
1.Set up Bios <with pres key "Delete" or "F1" or "F2">Booting Priority (chose Boot from CD/DVD Room).
2.Save and exit (with pres "F10")
3.Wait until text > "Pres any key for Boot from CD/DVD..." you pres any key before the text disapear.
4.and follow the instruction...

Laptop wont boot toshiba logo stays on forever


Put Your Restore Cd Or OS Cd in and press and hold F8 to choose to boot to cdrom.. then Repair your OS Start up...

Or try pressing F10 on boot up to go into built-in restore options
