I bought a homelite curb runner and need to replace the blade. The problem is I cannot find the blades anywhere. Any ideas?

I found that your electric edger blade is rounded on the ends. I did not find a part number for it. I also found a site that has about 30 or more Homelite edger blades listed, but again, with half of them without pictures, I can't give you the edger blade part number. But, if you have removed the blade and can measure all the dimensions of the blade, then you can match it up with one from this site.They have more blades than other sites I checked. It should not be too hard as each blade listed has the critical dimensions listed with it. I wish you good luck.

Ap-125 homelite gas watwer pump pull cord replace

few years late but here: guessing your problem area is the impeller blade? remove impeller blade by turning clockwise ( i put a screwdriver in the pull cord fin to stop shaft). Then remove spring around rubber gasket behind blade (then rubber gasket pulls off shaft. everything else just UN-bolts. Just figured it out myself today.

I have a Homelite Z830SB Brushcutter. I use it with the blade attached rather than the line, for cutting. It starts fine, but it does not engage (i.e. the shaft does not spin...so there is no rotation in...

the inner shaft could have broken, which is the case a lot when using the blade vs the string remove the shaft from the motor, and spin the inner rod and see if the blade turns, if it does check the end of the rod and see if its damaged in anyway , if the blade doesn't spin, the shaft has broken and will need replacement

After inquiring with Homelite's parts distributor, I have found out the Homelite does NOT offer any service repair parts for this model. A little bit of research tells me why. Home Depot retails this unit for less than $30 here in the USA. To compare, replacement blades for a similar product made by Poulan/Weedeater sell for $26 plus shipping. My guess is that Homelite considers this a disposable unit.

If it was working well for you, go buy another one. For $30, you can't go wrong.

Homelite hedge trimmer , motor runs but blades do

Had the same problem: when I turn on the trimmer, the motor would hum but the blades won't move.
What I did:
1. Sprayed a ton of wd40 between the blades
2. Took a screwdriver and kinda wedged it between the blades to get them unstuck. Also removed some guck between the blades.
And it worked!
