I assume by "Satellite", you have a Toshiba laptop, the only option open to you is to download the VGA (video) and Audio drivers, can you give me the particular model details of the laptop and I'll see can I find a "link" for you to download from

Turn off the computer. Turn on computer while taping the zero key. This will start the recovery, to restore the computer to the "new out of box condition".

My laptop get restart in an intervals or get hang ...

This will occur if the Windows files are Corrupted or Fragmented, the solution is to backup by logging in to Safe Mode. Please restart the computer and try pressing F8 Key to select Safe Mode. If the Safe Mode is working fine then please backup the data and Format the computer using the Window XP or the Operating System Disc which you have. If the Safe Mode is not working then use any Linux CD like Ubuntu (www.ubuntu.com) it's free! Then boot the CD to backup the data for any external Hard Drive or Pen Drive and format the Notebook using the appropriate Operating System Disc like Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7.

How to format the Hard drive without a recovery Disk?

What you are saying is like "how to listen to Bryan Adams' music on your PC without having a PC". You are gonna need atleast a OEM edition of the operating system if you want to re-install. The OEM version costs about 40 bucks on stores like ebay and Amazon.

I want to format the system

well you can use a bootable windows xp disk or actually any bootable windows or dos based operation system,go into your bios and make sure it is set to boot from CD.the rest is kinda self explaing..If you use a dos disk you'll have to Fdisk it or partion the hard drive.then format.if you use a XP cd its really self explaing.Just follow the on screen prompts and go like your reinstalling,When it ask you if you want to delete the partion and yes, then it will ask you to create a partion and yes or type C to create, then it will prompt you to format disk either quick or full.. Always choice full never quick.

NON DETECTION OF HARD DRIVE

I just responded to this. But I would also suggest that you check the memory on the laptop. It may be causing the Stop errors.

Windows will not load in any mode!! Crashed after I shut it down to restart.

I imagine this is in a continuous loop back to the black screen asking how you want to start, safe mode, normal, etc....
A majority of the time this is due to a failed hard drive, but it could also be a corrupt operating system due to a virus. Start by doing a system repair with your recovery or operating system disc. If the repair doesn't take, the reformat the hard drive and install a new operating system. If the hard drive will not format or you have any problems during or after the install, then the hard drive has failed and will need replaced.

New Hard Drive, system recovery problem

The systems disc is for the drivers and utilities, and, yes, there should have been two discs with the machine. The A45 is new enough that it should have come with an XP disc, not 98. I believe there was a mix up and you have the wrong disc. If you can get the operating system to load with the recovery disc you have, then you can get the drivers at the link below. Some two disc sets will not load an operational system unless you have both discs. Since you were running XP before, I don't think you're going to be happy with 98. I'm going to suggest that you purchase an XP disc, or contact Toshiba, and let them know that the wrong disc came with the machine, they might send you the right disc. If you do have to purchase an XP disc, simply load the system, then go to the link bellow and download the drivers. If you need any further assistance, feel free to ask.

Re-installing windows xp from Recovery CD without losing data

You can just get a new windows XP CD then on that you will have an option to repair what ever your problem with the operating system, if your hard disk has a partition and you don't have any data from the C drive where your OS is installed you can format the C drive and your files are still on your D drive.

Trouble Reloading Start-Up Disk on Toshiba Satellite 1905-S301

Please try changing the HDD. If same thing happens the problem may be with ur O/s Cd or the Mother board
Please let me know this is used machine or New one. If new one please take a different O/S cd and install it.

If you are installing XP and your HDD is SATA then you need sata drivers.
