Nice try! If nobody has helped you do your homework since August 2008, you probably have failed your computer-course.

Are there Linux drivers for the Spartan-6 / OMAP Co-processing kit? In general is there linux support for this board, i.e. linux versions of CCS and ISE available?

The CP2102 drivers are already integrated into most kernels. We've worked with Ubuntu 10.4 with no problems. See the Getting Started Guide on the site:
http://www.hqew.net/product-data/CP2102

Not sure of ISE, but I know that CCS4.xx does not work on Linux hosts. Versions of CCS5.x will support both Linux and Windows hosts.

We have been working on systems using virtual machines for the Linux development side, and Windows for the CCS/ISE side of development. Not the happiest of scenarios, but it works. CCSv5 on Linux will help solve a lot of those problems.

I have a Royal ezVue 7 PDA and I can't get the sync software to work. The computer reads and installs the software from the CD, and the desktop software appears to work, but to sync the desktop to the PDA...

Royal Extreme 7 will not sync properly.
It gets to Deleteing records and locks up.
Both the software and the PDA is then locked into the sync mode.
I have installed newer drivers as instructed by Tech support.
(MwNTXP.inf & rylm100.sys Files)
These files are listed under PDO Desktop>Drivers>WinNY2KXP.
I am using Windows XP Media Center Edition.

I have version 1.5 of the PDO Desktop program.

Is there a later version that works.
