Question about Samsung Digimax L60 Digital Camera
The main problem of my camera is lens will not come out. There's like a sound of it's gear.
I want the best solutions to fix this problem.
the beeping sound means that the camera has low battery capacity. the lens is stuck out because there is incorrect battery connection. there is an option on the camera setting for the battery type. try this one:
-turn the camera on
-click on Menu button
-select options using left/right, up/down button
-select Set up 2
-Select Battery type
-Select Alkaline for non-rechargable
or Ni-MH for rechargable
-click OK button
this setting should be done when using camera for the first time and whenever you are switching battery types, from rechargable to non-rechargable and vice versa.

I had the same problem.....3 beeps, no lens, no screen. I was ready to shop for a new one, but I wanted to try all the different solutions given on this site. Well, tapping the bottom of my camera on my desk 3 times worked. Now all is well. Thanks to all.

I had a Polaroid i531 that would beep 3 times then shut down & the lens wouldn't retract.
I fixed it like this:

This error is due to the lens mechanism being jammed and unable to extended, usually due to dirt or grit getting inside. The motor times out and the camera beeps 3 times before shutting down.
If you are unable to have Samsung fix this under warranty, you can carefully prise the lens out using a feeler gauge while powering the camera on, giving the motor a little help.

check first if battery is ok, maybe your problem is your barrel, if barrel not function properly you need to change motor or barrel allignment. if barrel is ok you have short circuit in your assy pcb main.
