Question about Sharp R-1610 Microwave Oven
My Sharp is R-9H 10. The internal fuse is gone. I tried to change it but when I turn it on its Ok but when trying to use any program the internal fuse will explode. A 10-hamp fuse is not holding, it is necessary to use a 15hamp fuse?
Can someone tell me what is happening or how to get technical support in order to me to this problem fixed please?
Apparently you're in the UK where 220V is used, so a 10A fuse would be correct.
If it goes dead or blows the breaker (or GFI) when you plug it in or open or close the door, then there's a problem with a door switch or door switch mount.
If it went dead almost immediately after pressing the Start pad, that's usually a shorted high-voltage capacitor.
If it went dead a few seconds after pressing the Start pad, that's usually a failing high-voltage transformer.
