I don't think you need a product key for the trial version. trial versions are normally free to download and use for a limited period which is usually 60 or 90 days. the trial period is to give you time to see if you like the program before you buy the full version.
you can download the trial of microsoft office directly from microsoft. I don't think you can download microsoft office 2007 any more, but they definitely have office 2010 that you can download. office 2010 is more up to date and will probably be more useful than office 2007 anyway , which is a bit out of date these days. the website is:
Hi,
There is no trial version for ms office pro 2007 and you cannot get a free legal ms office pro 2007. but you can get a free trial version of ms office pro 2010 to download from sites.
please rate if this solution was helpful, thanks!
I dont think you can legally download this version for free. You can get a free 60 day trial of the lastest 2010 version of the product, but cant find one for 2007.
A free alterative to microsoft office is open office which you can get from : www.openoffice.org
During the download process you will have received the 25-character trial product key on the "Download" and "Thank you" pages.
You may also find the product key in your Thank you e-mail sent immediately after the download completed.
Be aware this free trial version on MS Office Home and Student only works for 60 days after which you must purchase the full product to have full functionality.
For a completely free and fully functional alternative which requires no product keys whatsoever, please see this FixYa Tip.
Hope this helps. Thanks for using FixYa.
You cant download Microsoft Office for free since its a registered microsoft serial required product but you can download the Trials from http://us1.trymicrosoftoffice.com/product.aspx?re_ms=oo&family=officepro&culture=en-US . You either get 30 or 60 day trial depending on which version of office you select. Good thing about trial too is if you like that version you can buy the "UPGRADE" of it and save over $200 and use that serial key when the trial ends instead of wasting full price for full edition . Also so you know office 2007 home and student edition comes with word, excel , powerpoint and one note...thats a SUITE and it will cost you anywhere from $100- $150 for..if you just want word alone it will cost you about $110 so your better off getting the suite that comes with the other programs too. Hope this answer helped you out.
