SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have bought a n AVG product and are wondering what it does (should have found out before buying). there appear to be 2 new AVG icons on my desktop, if you can explain what part of my computer they a

AVG makes Anti-Virus software.

I have the free version. I LIKE IT.
I also run the free version of Malwarebytes Anit-Malware, and use the free registry editor CCleaner.
Not 'bragging'. Can show you how to download, and use Malwarebytes, AVG, and CCleaner.

My AVG icon on my desktop screen shows AVG2013.
Yours?
As for the other AVG icon I have no idea.
Does it have a yellow folder icon with a zipper on it, next to AVG?

Updates for Microsoft XP does not download to securites KB936982 and KB938127

Is your version of microsoft windows genuine.. ??

if it is here is what you need to do

1.) click start then all programs / accessories
2.) Click system tools, system restore.
3.) restore to a previous date about 2 to 3 weeks back..
4.) restart the system and now update windows..

If its a fresh install you have, something might have been corrupted when installing windows xp. You may need to format and reinstall again..

Another problem is a virus or trojan horse*spyware"..

Download avg free anti virus install and update then run it
Download Super anit spyware and install it as well..

If that fails let me know and there are alternative soultions

Tip

How protect Computer from Viruses infection

1. Get a good Antivirus Software. (you can try FREE AVG, Microsoft security essential etc)
2.
Keep the Antivirus Software updated with latest Virus signatures.
3.
Use an Internet Firewall.(I use free pc tool firewall plus, zone alarm)
4.
If you are Microsoft Windows user, turn on automatic updating.
5.
Never open an e-mail attachment from someone you don’t know.
6.
Avoid opening an e-mail attachment from someone you know, unless you know exactly what the attachment is. The sender may be unaware that it contains a virus.

My computer is enfected the virus, how to delete this virus

first you need to know the name of the file that is on your that your anti-virus app tells you the name. then if your anti virus app cannot remove the file you can try to enter your computer in safe mode do a file search for the name of the file on your computer then delete it and flush your recycle bin.
however, if you do not have an anti virus then what makes you think that you have a virus on your computer? you may have spyware on your computer instead and anti virus apps can see the bug but cannot remove them! so this is why you need both an anti virus app and an anit spyware app to keep your computer clean.
if you have internet access there are 2 free anti virus and anti spyware apps that you download all you have to do is register them online with a valid e-mail account and get them for free! AVG is a good anti virus and Spybot search and destroy is a good anit spyware and they are both free.

When I START TO DOWNLOAD AVG anti virus....give me message ' the supported operating system 9 windows 2000 sp4+ update rollup and higher) are listed on web site ..www.avg-com/ww.special-old-os-app9....but...

"AVG only runs on Windows 2000 SP4 + Update Rollup 1"

It sounds like you need an update for your Windows before you can install AVG. You should be able to download this from MS.

Virus that my anti virus doesn't detect

You can find several programs here I recommend scanning with Malwarebytes and Spybot S&D

If you install any other anti virus programs you must uninstall the one you have.

Also download Hijack This and post the scan results to your favorite computer support forum.

Virus problem

AVG may be reporting the virus that is in your system restore folder. This is common with AVG. Her is a link to Microsoft's site explaining how to turn it off and back on. Once you turn off System restore, reboot the PC and turn it back on. Run AVG again and the virus will probably be gone.
