Which part did you put a password on? The main BIOS or Windows? If it's the BIOS, you will have to get the combination of keys needed to bring this up when you boot up. It doesn.t always work though. I have an Averatec that I put a BIOS password into but now it won't let me back into the BIOS to clear it or change it.

When starting it up, keep pressing F8 and it will get you into a menu where you need to select start windows in safe mode, then you will be presented with an administartor account.

Click on this account, go to control panel>users>change an account>your account>delete the password.

Restart pc and your in again

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Hello i cant remember my user password and i would like to know how to access the main database so i can change the administrators password so i can access my laptop. its advent tl60 how do i do this?

there is no "Database" with the passwords. There are only a couple option to reset the admin password. If you have the Windows installation disk you can insert that and boot into that and change the admin password from there, or use "The Ultimate Boot Disk" it has a windows password change utility on it. You will need to burn that disk on a computer that you can log into though. That file is locked and not visible while windows is running by the way, so this has to be done from outside of windows.

All of a sudden my computer shut off n then wen tryin to turn it bak on it wouldnt let me use my mouse of keyboard ive tried reinstalling xp and it never fixed and system restore never worked either the...

You probably should see if the driver for the mouse and keyboards is properly installed if that's all your having problems with. Go and re download the drivers from the website and see if that doesn't work.

I need a product key to activate my hp 530 laptop please

A GOOGLE-search gives "Results 1 - 10 of about 127 for 2Q2WM-VCB98-8C6BG-C9BT2-3XDRY".

If you have a BIOS-password that you have forgotten, find your original sales-receipt for the computer, and then call the manufacturer. With the receipt as "proof" that you are the owner of the computer, rather than just being the person currently in possession of the computer, the manufacturer will be able to help you remove the BIOS-password.

My Toshiba A205 S4777 won't start up and I can't use the recovery media to fix it.

Try flashing the bios by pulling the chord out attached to the "watch" battery.

FORGOTTEN PASSWORD

you should be able to press F8 on start up, so as you are able to start in safe mode, the option will come up and highlight the line 'Start windows in safe mode' and press enter. When windows starts the icons will be larger than normal, so don't worry, but their will show your own account and an administrartor account, click on the administrator account and go to accounts and select the account that is passworded. You should then either be able to delete the password, change, or delete the account, when done, restart pc and it should be ok and back to normal
